Pressure measurement occurs using a ceramic pressure transducer. The voltages produced in the pressure sensor in the system are transferred for evaluation as electrical signals from a microprocessor controller. Exceptional drops in system pressure (a leak in a valve or leaks in the piping system) are therefore detected and the pump is shut down. Water damage to recreational vehicles can be prevented.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS (determined according to Truma test conditions):
Voltage: 10 to 15V. D.C.
StandBy Current: Ca. 10mA (pump off)
Current: 0.5 to 6A (depends on the pump used and pressure system), (pump on)
Overload protection: approx. 6 to 7 amps
Short circuit protection: included
Pressure sensor: 0 to 4bar (0 to 58 psi) measured relatively.
Pressure change sensor: 10bar (145 psi)
Pressure control: free adjustment between 0.8 and 1.4bar (11.6 to 20.3 psi). Important: equivalent pump pressure.
Leak detection: green led - system is ready to use / red led - eliminate the problem and reset
